True Influences Hires V12 Co-founder for CDO Role

In the US, intent data platform True Influence has hired former V12 Group CIO Ray Estevez as Chief Data Officer, responsible for leading data strategy and implementation.

True Influence's flagship InsightBASE solution monitors the online activity of millions of individuals visiting business web sites, gathering billions of purchase intent signals per month to help marketers reach relevant individuals at specific companies. Users of the Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) solution can target display advertising based on individuals' interests; and send timely, targeted, product-specific e-mail campaigns to prospects at the beginning of their buying journey.

Estevez (pictured) joins with nearly three decades' experience in information technology, with extensive expertise in e-mail, database, and digital marketing, as well as data management and software engineering. Most recently, he co-founded and served as Chief Information Officer at marketing data provider V12 Group, where he led the growth of the company to an acquisition by Data Mentors. The company was then renamed V12 Data, where Estevez was the CIO, providing oversight of enterprise-wide information technology activities. Prior to this, he was the CTO at digital agency ORB Digital, managing the IT division and re-engineering ORB's core ad server product ORBit 4.0. Earlier, he held IT leadership positions at ConsumerNet, Time Inc and Music Sound Exchange, and JP Morgan.
