Accenture Acquires Design and Research Firm INSITUM

Global management consultancy Accenture is to acquire Mexico City-headquartered service design and strategic research firm INSITUM for an undisclosed sum.

Luis ArnalINSITUM has more than 200 staff across Latin America, Europe and the US with additional studios in Barcelona, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Lima and Sao Paulo. Its multidisciplinary teams, which include researchers, strategists and designers, use behavioral science, ethnographic research and business strategy to understand human behavior and help clients develop new products and services and design more relevant experiences.

Through the deal, Accenture Interactive will expand the services of its design and innovation unit Fjord to Latin America and beyond.
