Insight Consultancy Launches for Charities Sector

In London, former Save the Children insight leads Tom Skilbeck and Matt Williams have launched a consultancy called Chemistry Insight, dedicated exclusively to charities, movements and brands that 'seek to do good'.

Matt Williams and Tom SkilbeckWith more than 30 years agency and client-side research and insight expertise between them, Williams and Skilbeck have what they describe as an intimate understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing charities and movements. Williams was previously Head of Insight at Save the Children, where he led all audience research, insight and strategy; before which he was a Director at the Ipsos MORI Social Research Institute and Reputation Centre for thirteen years, leading a wide range of research and insight projects across a portfolio of social policy areas and government departments, as well as reputation and senior stakeholder studies.

Skilbeck spent the last fourteen years consulting for global brands, charities and social movements on marketing initiatives. Earlier, he worked for Breast Cancer Now, and more recently he served as the Innovation Insight Lead at Save the Children, leading innovation development projects and organisational-wide insight across fundraising and brand teams. He began his career at Synovate, and later worked at Context Consulting as an Associate Partner.

Their new firm Chemistry Insight will work across the planning cycle on fundraising, marketing, innovation and brand challenges. Commenting on the launch, the pair said: 'We owe a huge amount to our experiences at Save the Children, working with some of the most inspiring campaigns and brilliant people for an incredibly valuable and worthwhile cause. Across all of our work, it is clear that the most loved brands and movements create chemistry with their audience, they move people, they make you feel something special. We're incredibly excited to be launching our practice and can't wait to work with many more great organisations to help them find the spark that makes people fall for them'.
