International Expansion Cash for e.fundamentals

London and Edinburgh-based eCommerce analytics and insights business e.fundamentals has raised £5.3m, which it will use to drive international expansion.

Founded in 2014, e.fundamentals provides eCommerce insight to brand owners on the effectiveness of their online retail presence, providing details on pricing, positioning and promotion from real-time data. The firm reviews and gathers the most up-to-date data about a product's performance online and then compiles it into its dashboard, enabling users to take the action delivering the biggest return.

The new funding round has been led by Maven Capital Partners, with participation from long-term investment partners Downing Ventures and Scottish Enterprise. The investment will be used for a launch in the US, with a version of the e.fundamentals platform tailored to the needs of the American market.
