IA Bags Sorrell for CEO Summit
Top-level US MR body the Insights Association is to feature long-time WPP CEO Sir Martin Sorrell as a speaker at its CEO Summit later this month.
 The Summit runs from January 20th-22nd in Miami, and is designed for C-level execs of small to mid-sized MR, insights and data analytics companies. The IA says the conference is sold out, but those interested in attending can join a waiting list and/or reserve their spot for the 2021 event.
Sorrell, who is currently Executive Chairman of digital advertising and marketing services platform S4 Capital, was CEO of WPP for 33 years, building it from a £1 million shell company in 1985 into the world's largest marcoms group, with a market capitalization of over £16 billion and more than 200,000 staff and consultants in 113 countries. S4 currently employs close to 2,000 people in 26 countries and has a market capitalization of over $1 billion.
