Fuller Leaves Comscore

Comscore's interim Chief Executive Dale Fuller has resigned as a Director of the company to 'pursue other ventures', following the recent promotion of Bill Livek to the CEO role.

Dale FullerFuller (pictured) joined Comscore's Board in 2018, and served as Chairman of its Audit Committee, following an SEC investigation into accounting irregularities, which included overstatement of revenue. Earlier, he was President & CEO of McAfee, Borland Software, and Lycos Media. He previously worked for Apple, in roles including General Manager and Vice President of Powerbooks Portable Computers, and he held senior roles at NEC, Canon, Motorola and Texas Instruments.

Fuller steps down from his temporary position, as former Rentrak Chief Livek moves into the role of CEO. In a statement, Comscore said Fuller's resignation was not because of any disagreement with the company, or any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices. He was the last remaining Board member designated as an appointee of shareholder Starboard Value, and Starboard has no remaining right to designate directors to the Board.

In an e-mail to Comscore Chairman Brent Rosenthal, Fuller said: 'I write to thank you, the Board of directors, shareholders and employees of the company for the honor and pleasure to have served the company as Chairman of the Audit Committee, Board Member and as interim Chief Executive Officer. We, together, have successfully guided the company through some very difficult times, and now, finally, have the opportunity to sail with clear skies and smooth waters. The team as a whole has performed very well, and going forward will only continue to get better. I see great things for this company's future'.
