Breaking Blue Joins Cello Health Insight

Tech and consumer specialist Breaking Blue Research is formally joining sister agency Cello Health Insight, in a move which the firms say will add specialist expertise to strengthen the overall business insights and analytics offer.

Kate AndersonLondon, Manchester, Glasgow and Chicago-based Breaking Blue was formed under the name Bright Blue Research in 2015, through the merger of four agencies within the RS Group. These were financial specialist Consensus Research, consumer researcher Leapfrog, public sector agency mruk and b2b-focused RS Consulting.

The firms say Breaking Blue will add complementary sectoral expertise and tech and consumer 'know-how' to the group's work with health clients; and that the combination will deliver 'unique capabilities' in behavioural science, data analytics and tracking.

Following the merger, the Breaking Blue team will retain its client-facing brand name and identity, marketed as 'A Cello Health Insight Business'. In recent years, the two teams have worked closely together, and Breaking Blue MD Kate Andersen (pictured) described the formal operational merger of these two companies as 'a natural next step for us'.
