Former Penguin Random House CFO Joins MediaMath

Ad tech company MediaMath has appointed Milena Alberti-Perez as CFO, based in New York and reporting to company President, Konrad Gerszke.

Milena Alberti-PerezMediaMath's software allow users to launch, analyze and optimize digital ad campaigns across display, native, mobile, video, audio, social, digital OOH and advanced TV formats. The firm was founded in 2007 and has offices in 16 cities worldwide, with headquarters in New York City. In the autumn, the firm announced the launch of SOURCE, an industry-wide effort to create an accountable and addressable supply chain through an alliance of agencies, brands, tech companies and content owners.

Alberti-Perez (pictured) brings twenty years' experience of finance and media, most recently from the CFO role at book publishing giant Penguin Random House, part of the Bertelsmann Group. Hers she directly oversaw an organization of more than 100 people, spanning reporting, M&A, royalties, real estate, cybersecurity, audit and financial planning; and advised on the merger of Random House with Penguin, described as the largest transaction in book publishing history.

Gerszke, himself appointed in August, says of the news: 'We are delighted to welcome Milena to the MediaMath team... Her track record in successfully navigating transformations and executing on long-term business plans will be a key asset as we enter our next phase of growth and continue to drive adoption of SOURCE to achieve a fully accountable and addressable digital ecosystem'.
