Women In Research Adds Three to Advisory Board

In the US, not-for-profit organization Women In Research (WIRe) has added three new members to its 2020 Advisory Board: Babita Earle, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Zappi; Dyna Boen, previously COO of Survata; and Lynnette Cooke, Global CEO of Kantar's Health Division.

Babita Earle, Dyna Boen and Lynnette CookeFounded in 2007 by ScaleHouse owner Kristin Luck, WIRe exists to encourage the establishment of relationships among women in the market research sector through informal gatherings. Its goal is to develop more women as CEOs or in senior management positions, help more women start their own research firms, and encourage more women to choose research as a career path.

Earle, who is currently a member of the main UK MRS Board, joins the WIRe Advisory Board after more than three years at automated consumer insights platform Zappi; before which, she spent over eighteen years at GfK; latterly as UK Head of Client Development. Boen most recently worked at DIY research and ad measurement company Survata, after a career which included co-founding mobile-based consumer engagement and insights firm UBMobile (sold to Critical Mix in 2018); co-founding online data quality provider TrueSample (acquired by Imperium in 2017); and roles at Lucid, MarketTools and Zoomerang. Cooke currently serves as Global CEO of Kantar Health; is Chair of Kantar's Corporate Responsibility program, Extraordinary People; and the executive sponsor of research that Kantar conducts for UN Women. She was previously CEO at Ziment Group, serves on the Insights Association Board of Directors, is an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University, and is also on the Advisory Board for the university's Master of Science in Marketing Research.

WIRe Advisory Board members Pratiti Raychoudhury (Facebook), Joanna Derry (Nestle), and Vanessa Oshima (Starbucks) will be moving to emeritus status after having served their terms. Commenting on the three new appointments, Luck said: 'This year's additions to the WIRe Advisory Board have illustrated a commitment to inclusion in their own companies and organizations and I'm honored to have their guidance moving forward'.
