RKD Buys Non-Profit Donor Data Specialist DMI

In the US, fundraising and marketing services provider RKD Group has acquired North Carolina-based data services company Data Management Inc. (DMI), which helps non-profits with their donor data and subsequent marketing programs. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Dennis MooreDMI's proprietary managed database is used to manage billions of constituent data records, and the company then provides solutions for modeling and enriching that data. The DMI Donor Intelligence Platform helps clients identify key donor segments, spot trends in donor contributions, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Following the deal, DMI will operate as part of RKD Insights, which RKD Group launched earlier this year to provide data management, reporting and analytic services. DMI will maintain its relationship with current clients, while enhancing and expanding RKD Insights' suite of data solutions. RKD Group President Dennis Moore comments: 'With this acquisition, RKD further strengthens the power of its data- and analytic-driven omnichannel fundraising and marketing solutions for charitable organizations in the United States and Canada'.
