That's It for Christmas and the New Year

DRNO is taking a break now until 4th January. It's been a strange old 12 months, but we're looking forward greatly to 2021. We wish those of you doing it a fantastic Christmas, and everyone a great New Year.

We count ourselves very lucky to be healthy, ticking along OK as a business, operating virtually already since 2018 and (for most if not all MrWeb staff) living in the countryside where Covid and the restrictions that have been governments' answer to it have often been easy enough to cope with, and even seemed miles away. We're acutely aware that not all our readers will have been so fortunate and our thoughts are with all those who have lost jobs and businesses, and/or suffered due to the virus itself. We hope the new year brings new work opportunities, a return to normality in most areas and a return to something better than it was in a few: surely, for one, this is a chance to reset our priorities when it comes to the state of the planet, a massively bigger issue and greater threat even than the pandemic.

In the meantime, daily publishing deadlines making for quite a stressful job, we fully intend to put our feet up and forget all about stress for 10 whole days - the only time of year we really can. We hope you'll be able to do the same, and come back refreshed and full of energy for 2021. Thanks for reading DRNO and for the unusually large number of well wishes and kind words we've received this year about the publication. It's a pleasure to be in this warm, interesting and useful industry with you, and to be trusted with keeping you up to date on its many changes.
