MarketCast Hires Tech and Games Leader

In Los Angeles, entertainment insights business MarketCast has hired long-time Kelton Global exec Martin Eichholz for a newly created role, Corporate SVP and General Manager of its Technology and Games division.

MarketCast's research, analytics and data science support studios, entertainment platforms, sports and lifestyle brands. Last year, the company acquired data science services provider Deductive and integrated its previous acquisitions of social digital opinion measurement firm Fizziology, custom research and insights specialist Insight Strategy Group, and sports researcher Turnkey Intelligence under the MarketCast brand and leadership team.

Eichholz (pictured) joins after more than twelve years at LRW Group-owned consumer insights and strategy consultancy Kelton Global, where he most recently served as Chief Insights Officer, developing multi-disciplinary solutions for branding, innovation, communications and product development research. Prior to this he spent more than eight years at media and entertainment research firm Magid Associates, latterly leading the NY office quant group. Here he focused on online advertising and mobile research, and gained specialist expertise in the video gaming sector.

In his new role, Eichholz will head up client services and growth initiatives with the firm's technology and video games clients, including social media organizations, digital publishers and game developers. Company CEO John Batter says Eichholz's reputation for being an innovative researcher and trusted advisor to marketing and research leaders will be critical as the firm continues to expand its Technology and Games practice.
