Travel Spend Analyst DVI Acquired by Emburse

In the US, expense management specialist Emburse has acquired travel spend behavior analyst DVI (Data Visualization Intelligence). Terms were not disclosed.

Virginia Beach-based DVI uses advanced data science techniques to convert travel data into visualizations, allowing clients to analyze every type of travel spend - including flights, hotels, rental cars, and meals - along with trips arranged by corporate travel agencies. Companies can also use this data to monitor traveler destinations and compare this data against local and global COVID hotspots, to help track potential exposure while on a trip.

Emburse says the deal will deepen its own analytics expertise and capabilities in travel and corporate spend.
