Essence Names Wolder Head of Experience

WPP's global data and measurement-driven media agency Essence has promoted Magda Wolder to the role of Head of Experience, APAC, based in Singapore.

Magda WolderAs part of GroupM, Essence combines data science, media and customer experience skills to help clients build connections between brands and consumers. Two years ago, it launched an innovation, research and development hub called Essence Global Ventures (EGV), to help develop its 'product proposition'.

Wolder (pictured) joined in 2018 as Creative Strategy Director, EMEA, and most recently served as Head of Creative Strategy, EMEA. Prior to this, she worked for Netflix in the Netherlands, as Senior Researcher EMEA - Consumer Insights for Netflix Originals; and for Sky as Creative Strategist, having earlier been the firm's Head of Customer Closeness. Earlier, she was an RE at Essential Research.

In her new role, Wolder will lead the agency's specialist Experience capabilities, including creative, content, innovation, and its studio. She will also head a team of creative strategists, conceptual thinkers, designers, and production partners to deliver data-driven creative for the firm's clients across the region. This team will continue to develop personalised creative experiences through the EGV hub.
