The Insights Family Launches IP INDEX

Kids, parents and family market intelligence provider The Insights Family has launched the IP INDEX, to enable brand owners, brand partners and retailers to identify and benchmark the performance of their intellectual property (IP) across multiple media types.

Nick RichardsonAccording to the company's 2021 Industry Report, 'identifying new IP' was the number one licensing-related issue businesses are facing, with almost seven in ten organisations citing it. The new tool provides data to identify new partners, spot opportunities, benchmark properties and engage stakeholders, while offering context and insight into a property's audience.

The beta version of the tool (available across seventeen countries and four media types) presents data through a league table, and provides a score based predominately on The Insights Family propriety data, while also utilising data from API sources such as Google and YouTube.
