Kantar Promotes for New Marketplace APAC Lead Role

Kantar has promoted Ilana Sanborn to the newly created role of Head of Kantar Marketplace, Asia Pacific.

Ilana SanbornThe Marketplace is an on-demand research platform that combines validated sample reach to seventeen million US consumers with quick turnaround self-serve custom surveys, insight solutions and expert consulting. The platform also offers the Express Surveys service, to enable users to create a simple survey and get answers to their questions in 'hours, or even minutes'.

Sanborn (pictured) joined Kantar in 2015 and has since led its Australia Innovation practice, as well as the Kantar Marketplace growth strategy for Australia. She originally joined the group in 2005 as an SRE at Research International, then moved client side to McDonald's, where she latterly served as Consumer and Business Insights Manager; and Quick Service Restaurant Holdings (now Craveable Brands) where she was Group Consumer and Menu Insights Manager. She later joined TNS Australia as a Senior Consultant and was most recently Kantar's National Director Innovation and Product Development.

Sanborn will remain a member of the Kantar Australia Board.
