sparks & honey Hires for CCO / DE&I Head Role

In New York, Omnicom's cultural intelligence and trendsetting consultancy sparks & honey has appointed Davianne Harris in the dual role of Chief Client Officer and Head of its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practice.

Davianne HarrisLaunched in 2012, sparks & honey uses its Q platform to help organizations understand cultural shifts and cultural movements that develop over time. Harris (pictured) joins from 'purpose-driven' ad agency Oberland, where she served as Partner, Head of Strategy, and led the launch of the agency's DE&I program, OBER-CHANGE. Having begun her career as Associate Study Director at Synovate, she then worked in insights roles at Truth Consulting, RTi Research and JWT, before taking strategy positions at KWG Advertising, Catchafire, Starfish, and Engine's young consumer trendsetting insights specialist Cassandra.

In her new position, Harris will be working with clients across business transformation, research and development, merger and acquisition strategy, C-suite insights and services, 'culturally resonant marketing and communications', and DE&I strategy. She will also be charged with overseeing the Client Strategy team, and business transformation projects, while continuing to grow the consultancy's DE&I practice.

Harris will report to CEO Terry Young, who comments: 'There is a deep and genuine understanding that diversity, equity and inclusion are foundational to sparks & honey's success, and the success of our clients moving forward.
