Accenture Buys Workforce Insight

Professional services giant Accenture has acquired consultancy Workforce Insight, which offers a range of advisory, analytics and technology services for workforce management (WFM) and human capital management (HCM). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Don GiffelsLakewood, CO-based Workforce Insight helps clients evaluate, implement and adopt the optimal strategy to achieve and sustain workforce operational excellence and ongoing financial performance gains. Its services include KPI definition and performance target setting, ROI forecasts, third-party data integration and custom dashboards and visualizations. The firm also helps clients enable data driven cultures and analytics adoption.

According to Accenture, the acquisition will further strengthen its own advisory and planning capabilities, providing complementary data and analytics technology solutions. As part of the deal, Workforce Insight's team of nearly 3000 professionals are joining Accenture's Workforce Management practice, part of the Intelligent Platform Services group.
