Merkle Opens Tech Consulting Practice

In London, data-driven customer experience management (CXM) company Merkle has opened a dedicated Technology Consulting practice, and appointed its Senior Director of Solutions Andy Ankrah to lead it.

Owned by dentsu, Merkle uses its skills in technology and analytics to understand consumers and drive people-based marketing strategies. Its new UK Technology Consulting practice will provide clients with technology planning expertise, helping them establish their CXM approach. Services will include support for the deployment of specific technologies across the customer lifecycle and for establishing the business processes and talent required to operationalise the strategy at scale.

Ankrah (pictured) takes up the new position after more than seven years with the company, in roles such as Senior Director of Experience Analytics and Analytics Manager. Earlier, he founded a Customer Experience Optimisation (CXO) practice in the UK.

He reports to UK Strategy Lead Niyi Duro-Emanuel, who comments: 'In addition to establishing a need for services within Merkle, Andy and the Technology Consulting practice will accelerate alignment across EMEA markets in Merkle's approach to technology recommendation when it comes to navigating the complexities of CXM and driving value through technology.
