Call Center and CX Software Firm Buys Survey Dynamix

Brisbane, Australia-based customer feedback technology firm Survey Dynamix has been acquired by CX software developer VHT.

Matt DiMariaFormerly known as Virtual Hold Technology, VHT in the '90s developed and patented what it calls the 'Hang up and we'll call you back when it's your turn' approach, later known as 'virtual queuing'; since then it has evolved from a callback company into one with a broader focus on successful customer interactions.

Survey Dynamix has conducted more than 38 million surveys in the last twelve months for blue chip clients. The firm was founded in 2016 by contact center industry veterans Alasdair Boyd and Alex Romanov. VHT says the buy will enhance its 'Mindful' suite of callback capabilities, allowing users to add real-time customer surveys into the mix; and to trigger activities to engage customers as a result. At present, the firm says, it can take weeks for contact center teams to receive customer feedback, and customers never get a follow-up to close the loop.
