Accenture Buys Insight-Led Commerce Agency The Stable

Accenture has acquired data-driven commerce agency The Stable, which focuses on helping consumer brands build and operate their own digital commerce channels and manage their brand and sales performance. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Chad HetheringtonFounded in 2015 by Chad Hetherington (pictured), The Stable offers a full suite of commerce capabilities, uses data and analytics to uncover insights that inform decisions at every touchpoint, and helps maximize sales opportunities for brands across both retail and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels.

In addition, the agency analyzes brands' media channels and campaign performance to inform ongoing media strategy and optimization, using historical data combined with industry benchmarks and research to define target audiences and buyer personas. The firm has also developed proprietary analytics tools to provide a deeper look at shopper behavior, demographics and competitor brands.

The Stable's more than 400 people have joined Accenture.
