Audience Engagement Specialist Slickstream Acquired

Independent publisher site CafeMedia has acquired audience engagement specialist Slickstream from its former parent company, Hivepoint. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Evan SimeoneSlickstream helps users maximize web site visitor engagement, connect with their audiences, and encourage them to discover more of the content they want. The firm's Engagement Suite provides search and data-driven content recommendation tools that are optimized for increasing page views, time on site, and other key engagement metrics.

Following the deal, Slickstream joins the CafeMedia and AdThrive brands, which manage digital ad sales, technology and other services for more than 3,800 creators and independent publishers, who have a reach of more than 183 million monthly unique visitors in the US.
