Signal AI Buys Corporate Reputation Data Analyst KELP

London-based media monitoring and market intelligence firm Signal AI has acquired US corporate reputation platform KELP. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded last year, KELP's data analytics platform brings together hundreds of millions of data points annually across hundreds of topics specific to each client's reputation. KELP's technology then analyzes what drives positive reputation, surfacing insights that can be used to target audiences with appropriate messages, on the right channel, using the correct tone.

Signal AI said that the acquisitions 'accelerates a shared vision' to help organizations understand the external events that are impacting their success. Through the deal, Signal AI's external intelligence data and KELP's reputation insights will create a solution that enables organizations to quantify the aggregate impact of all company actions. KELP's team, including co-founders Dan Gaynor and Shann Biglione, will join Signal AI as full-time employees.
