Nunwood Launches Web Information Suite

UK-based Nunwood Consulting Ltd has announced a new information management system, Knowledge Systems, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of Insight and Information departments.

The product is a modular, web based information system with three components combined in one coherent web environment:
  • Knowledge Library, an information storage and management system
  • Knowledge Reporter, a tracker management system, which simplifies the storage of data by storing multiple trackers in one area and in one recognisable format
  • Knowledge Tree, a knowledge network capable of storing previously disparate strands of business and consumer data in an accessible and actionable format.
Businesses can if preferred develop any element separately. The system is designed around the principle of simplicity, permitting users across the business to access and manipulate raw research data without software or training. Examples of features are:
  • Generate instant reports using cross business data
  • Use reports to guide business strategy
  • Empower co-workers to make business decisions more quickly
  • Accurately assess the return on marketing and R&D investment
  • Augment the contribution made by the Insight and Information teams.
According to Phil Rushfirth, Director of Knowledge Systems at Nunwood, the system was designed with the heads of research teams in mind: 'The ability to learn faster than your competitors may be the only sustainable competitive advantage over the coming years. Research and information managers are best placed to deliver this advantage. They are the Board members and decision makers of tomorrow'.

Nunwood is one of two finalists in the 2004 BMRA Research Business Awards overall 'Best Agency' category. Its web site is at www.nunwood.com - a separate site exists for www.knowledgesystems.info
