Conversational AI Analytics Firm Sestek Acquired

Middle East-based customer communications platform Unifonic has acquired Istanbul, Turkey-based conversational AI and analytics solutions provider Sestek, for an undisclosed sum.

Levent ArslanSestek has developed a suite of solutions using text-to-speech, speech recognition, natural language processing and voice biometrics technologies. Products include Knovvu Virtual Agent, which is designed to understand customer intent and respond without the need for live agents; Knovvu Analytics, which collects 100% of interaction data at customer service channels and converts it into insights to understand customers and help to improve their experiences; and Knovvu Biometrics, which monitors more than 100 parameters of voices in areas including language, accent and content.

Sestek has more than 140 employees, including a team of more than 100 R&D and technology specialists. Unifonic says Sestek's offerings complement its own, and the combined capabilities will deliver a 'more holistic' customer engagement offering to their global customers.
