Content Intelligence Firm Joins Next Practices Group

US firm The Next Practices Group (NPG) has acquired Atlanta, GA-based content intelligence and strategy company Content Science. Terms were not disclosed.

Colleen JonesNPG has around 180 employees using proprietary media and analytics models to tailor solutions for clients in communications, marketing, public affairs, security, software, analytics, brand purpose, digital transformation and PESO digital media.

Content Science founder and President Colleen Jones will join NPG, and the move will give NPG's clients access to an expanded team focused on integrating analytic insights and improving the effectiveness of content 'in all forms'. Jones is a consultant, author, speaker and innovator in the field of content strategy, and in her current role has led strategic initiatives for clients from Dell and The Home Depot to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; she is also the developer of ContentWRX, a platform to evaluate content effectiveness.

Jones says joining MPG is 'the latest chapter in a story of progression' for her firm, and adds that the companies 'share an exciting and ambitious vision for content. We understand that when business is digital, content is critical'.
