Lytics Hires Former Webtrends Exec as SVP Product

In the US, consumer data analytics company Lytics has appointed long-time Webtrends exec Jeff Seacrist as Senior Vice President, Product & Product Marketing.

Jeff SeacristPortland, OR-based Lytics has developed a customer data platform (CDP) which pulls in clients' customer and user marketing data from both structured and unstructured sources, including sales and support databases, and forms 'behavior-rich' user segments, such as 'likely to churn', 'most active on mobile' or 'coupon lover'. These are then integrated into the client's marketing tools.

Seacrist (pictured) joins after more than five years at Oracle, where he most recently served as VP of Product Management. He previously spent seven years at digital analytics specialist Webtrends, leading the firm's transformation from its foundational web analytics technology to a streaming, big data analytics provider, before the sale of its Infinity big data platform to Oracle in 2017. Prior to this, Seacrist ran his own product and corporate marketing consultancy, and led product and brand transformation for health food retailer Aisle7, having begun his career in product management roles at Webtrends.

In his new position, Seacrist will lead Lytics' efforts to expand further into the CDP market. Lytics President Jascha Kaykas-Wolff comments: 'Jeff is an incredibly accomplished and admired product and product marketing executive. With the recent launch of Conductor, Lytics is clearly the industry leader defining the future of the CDP. Jeff will help us to accelerate our vision, execute better and perform to our best potential as we look to take on greater market share in the CDP category'.
