Audiense Acquires SOPRISM Consumer Insight Tool

Audience intelligence platform Audiense has acquired SOPRISM, a tool that helps agencies and brands develop their understanding of their social media audience. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Jonathann MingoiaBelgium-based SOPRISM offers social media audience profiling solutions, based on what it describes as one of the largest behavioral consumer panels of more than three billion users worldwide - Facebook and Instagram. The business says it provides audience insights that go beyond conversations, sample groups and declarative data, to provide 'real digital intelligence'.

Following the buy Audiense will merge the SOPRISM team and product into its existing platform, which combines social media sources with cognitive and machine learning, to help clients understand audiences. SOPRISM will still exist as a product, under the Audiense company name.
