Livingstone Leads Enlightenment

BMRB and Millward Brown have launched Enlightenment, a new UK-based customer intelligence service drawing on their combined expertise; and have appointed Sandy Livingstone, formerly of Key Note, to head it up.

Livingstone, whose new title is Business Development Director, has 14 years' experience in companies including Food from Britain, Promar International and most recently Key Note. He has worked across a wide range of sectors including fmcg, finance, automotive and leisure.

According to Livingstone, 'There is a huge gap in the market for cost-effective consultancy from those who actually provide consumer information. The service provided by Enlightenment short-circuits the whole data collection/brand consultancy service to provide clients with a faster and more cost-effective picture of what's going on with their customers. Client companies decreasingly have the resource to do this in house - which is where Enlightenment fits in'.

Enlightenment already has its first client, UK Internet bank Egg, whose Customer Research and Proposition Director Mark Pearson comments 'For Egg, consumer insight has to be fast and fresh and, as we have less time to commission, analyse and implement findings, we need knowledge that we can quickly get working to our advantage on the street. Enlightenment's analysts... have been instrumental in making our new customer segmentation come alive'.

BMRB is part of the KMR Group. Both KMR and Millward Brown are part of the Millward Brown Group which in turn is part of Kantar, part of WPP. Web sites are at www.bmrb.co.uk , www.millwardbrown.com and www.enlightenment-uk.com
