Boost for Merkle as Dentsu Buys Omega CRM

Marcoms giant Dentsu has acquired Madrid-based customer relationship management specialist Omega CRM Consulting, which it will add to its own CXM division Merkle. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

David García FuentesFounded in 2012, Omega CRM helps clients develop customer-centric digital solutions, and identify the right KPIs and scorecards to monitor performance and deliver insights. Its proprietary Omega360 CX methodology is used to help identify and enrich each contact point in the customer journey, through the development of relevant brand experiences. Currently, the team comprises around 550 staff based in ten offices in Spain and one in France.

Following the acquisition the Omega CRM team will join Merkle, which in the EMEA region spans eighteen countries and employs 4,900 staff. Dentsu says the deal will make it one of the largest CXM agencies in Spain, with more than 750 employees.
