Seed Funds for Analytics Platform Rupert

In the US, analytics distribution platform Rupert has raised $8m in a seed round of funding, which it will use to invest in its product, add features and integrations, and scale go-to-market efforts.

Ziv Wangenheim and Yoni SteinmentzRupert was co-founded by Ziv Wangenheim and Yoni Steinmentz, after they had led analyst and data teams at organizations such as Google, Jefferies, Lazard and Palantir. Their firm's platform helps analytics and operations teams deliver personalized, actionable insights at scale, and is designed to measure and boost the ROI of analytics assets by maximizing actionability and engagement with them, while minimizing the cost of analytics infrastructure and operations.

The platform uses natural language capabilities to connect analytics sources (such as BI tools), operational applications (CRMs, ad campaign managers, Jira etc), and communications tools (including Slack, Teams and e-mail), enabling analytics and operations teams to deliver hyper-personalized insight alerts to business stakeholders, at scale. Alerts are prompted by data triggers and accompanied by 'Action Modules' that allow users to immediately act on insights.

New funding has been led by Citi Ventures and Joule Ventures; as well as data execs, including AtScale CEO Christopher Lynch; Stitch founders Jake Stein and Bob Moore; and other executives from data organizations such as Snowflake, Looker, Weights & Biases, Snowplow, Alation, and SAP. The founders commented: 'We built Rupert to help organizations close the loop from data pipelines to business impact. We help analytics teams claim their seat at the business table and move out of 'support mode' and into 'proactive mode', by connecting their work directly to business KPIs and impact'.
