Bain Buys Brisbane's Max Kelsen Consulting

Management consultancy Bain & Company has acquired Max Kelsen's consulting and managed services divisions - 'Max Kelsen Consulting' - which provide AI and machine learning (ML) solutions to clients across the globe. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Founded in Brisbane in 2015, Max Kelsen Consulting employs a team of full stack engineers delivering ML systems, AI-powered applications and advisory services for clients. The firm deploys specialised ML systems to automate manual workflows, extract value from clients' own internal data at scale, and personalise engagement with customers. The firm has expertise across industries such as mining, financial services and retail, but its biggest focus is the healthcare and life sciences sector.
