Kantar Analytics India Names Parayil Principal

Kantar has promoted Mary George Parayil to the position of Principal of Kantar Analytics, India. She is based in Bengaluru.

Mary George ParayilKantar Analytics is a global network of more than 1,500 data scientists, analytics consultants, technologists and designers. Its portfolio includes UMMO (Unified Marketing Measurement & Optimization), a cookie-less solution that provides AI-powered measurement of online and off-line media; and Digital Mirror, an NLP-based digital analytics solution that decodes digital footprints using AI, with the aim of helping brands to understand people more 'holistically' - from unknown personality traits to emerging trends and detailed media consumption habits.

Parayil (pictured) joined the business in 2013, initially as Senior Domain Consultant at Analytics Quotient, which became part of Kantar in 2016. She has since worked at Kantar, most recently as Senior Director, Analytics Consulting, leading analytics consulting for the Indian market. Earlier she was Area Sales Manager at General Mills, and she held the same job title at Coca-Cola Beverages, having begun her career as a Software Engineer at Infosys.

In her new role, she reports to Ranjana Gupta, Innovation Lead for the South Asia Insights Division. Soumya Mohanty, the division's MD & Chief Client Officer, comments: 'Kantar in India is the leader in brand measurement, and as our client teams work closely with Mary, it will further amplify our ability to provide end to end solutions to modern-day brand problems'.
