App Engagement Platform Aampe Raises $7.5m

Aampe, a user engagement platform with locations in Raleigh, NC and Singapore, has announced a Pre-Series A funding round totalling $7.5m, with which to support product development and fuel continued global expansion.

Aampe's platform for consumer mobile apps allows customers to improve customer engagement and retention via omnichannel personalized experiences, and offers continuous testing of different message strategies to check which attributes drive customer engagement. It also automates previously manual processes for content creation, experimental design, conversion tracking and ongoing iterations.

The product uses AI to track and adapt to each user's individual responses, clicks and subsequent actions in response to each message they receive, and marketers can view insights about users preferences, behaviors and motivations via a dashboard interface.

The round was led by Matrix Partners India and Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA), and adds to $1.8m raised previously. The firm was founded in 2020 and has more than 50 million users each month, with customers across Asia, Europe and North America.
