Key Role in Nielsen 'Transformation' for New CFO Jenson

Nielsen has announced that CFO Warren Jenson, who joined the ratings giant just five months ago, will add the role of company President to his existing responsibilities. He will oversee the modernisation of operations and manage Nielsen's IT, Corporate Development and Global Strategy functions.

Warren JensonThe company's Portfolio Analytics business unit will also report in to Jenson, who will himself continue to report to new CEO Karthik Rao.

Most recently President, CFO and Executive MD of International for LiveRamp, Jenson has more than thirty years of experience in transformation and value creation in a range of industries, including data and media. He has worked as CFO for companies including Amazon, Delta Airlines, NBC and Electronic Arts.

Rao says Jenson has made 'a tremendous impact' on the company in a short time and has 'proven to be a trusted advisor as we've navigated a changing environment'. He adds: 'His expanded role will be integral to our work as we set out to transform our business now and into the future'.

Jenson himself says he has been 'encouraged by Nielsen's commitment to innovation and shaping the media measurement ecosystem around the globe', and declares: 'I am humbled to take on the additional role as President of Nielsen and lead the company's vision and transformation, particularly during Nielsen's centennial anniversary year'.
