Monetate Adds Journey Analytics Tool

Dallas-based personalization platform Monetate has launched a Journey Analytics tool, allowing users to view and evaluate customer experiences and behavior, including comparison of different promotional or operational variants under consideration.

Eric RosadoMonetate was acquired in 2019 by retail personalization specialist Kibo but spun off again a year ago along with sister company Certona. The firm's Monetate Experiences platform allows clients to test, personalize and merchandise different strategies, with a product range including A/B tests, AI-driven testing, audience segmentation, product recommendations, social proof and 1-to-1 personalization. The addition of Monetate Journey Analytics means they can view and assess experiences, out of the box, including variants being tested and not just post-launch.

The company says no additional configuration or setup is needed, and that Journey Analytics will be available for every new Monetate-launched experience. Features include better visualization and evaluation of key customer journeys, including top-performing touch points; greater ability to uncover new personalization opportunities or friction points; increased opportunities for customer segmentation and engagement; and improved clarity into which journeys across testing variants were most impactful.

Chief Product Officer Eric Rosado comments: 'We have seen a rapid shift in demand for better experiences on consumer sites and understand the need to collect and analyze experience data in a unified view. With Journey Analytics, brands will gain a more comprehensive understanding of how browser and buyer segments are interacting throughout journeys as a result of the experiences launched through Monetate'.
