Physician Insights Firm Winnow AI Acquired

In the US, healthcare talent software and staffing company Aya Healthcare has acquired Winnow AI, a data science-driven solution that uncovers predictive physician insights and untapped connections to bolster an organization's provider recruitment and retention strategies. Terms were not disclosed.

Winnow combines AI with business intelligence to help organizations understand passive physicians. Its model identifies the best predictive matches for each open role and surfaces the relationships of potential candidates with existing providers. It also predicts which physicians are likely to change jobs and where they are most likely to relocate.

Following the buy, Winnow AI will operate within Aya's Provider Solutions division, complementing Aya's DocCafe brand, a physician talent acquisition platform boasting the 'nation's largest pool of active job seekers'. Ray Guzman (pictured), co-founder and CEO of Winnow AI, says the offering provides a more targeted approach to building 'all-star teams' by pinpointing candidates who match the profiles of a company's best doctors.
