Kruse Returns as Gallup General Counsel

Research and advisory firm Gallup has reappointed William Kruse as its General Counsel, after nearly five years away from the company working as Deputy General Counsel for CFA Institute.

Gallup LogoKruse has worked in both military and civilian roles. In his previous stint at Gallup he worked in the long-established survey group's Washington office as senior counsel for the public sector division, and as their Chief Compliance Officer. Before this he was a trial and appellate counsel at a boutique railroad and maritime trial firm based in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a graduate of Florida International University College of Law and the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Business.

His return comes as Gallup says it is increasingly advising corporations, non-profits, NGOs and governments on how to use advanced analytics to solve their most pressing problems - contributing to what CEO Jon Clifton calls a 'complex legal landscape' in which Kruse's 'extensive legal experience and deep understanding of [Gallup's] business will be invaluable'.
