Bliss Group Hires Co-Leader for Impact Practice

In the US, insights-driven marketing communications agency The Bliss Group has appointed Emily Porro as SVP and co-leader of its Impact practice.

The group brings together data science and storytelling skills to understand audiences and develop relevant messages to target them with 'precision, empathy and purpose'. Clients are located across the healthcare, financial, technology, business and professional sectors. Fifteen months ago the company partnered with data science specialist Ringer Sciences to launch an audience intelligence platform called the Executive Signals Platform (ESP), to analyze the behavior of business leaders across a range of sectors.

Porro (pictured) has worked as a senior executive at communications firms including Makovsky, Sloane & Company and Raffetto Herman - and run her own agency, Porro Communications, for nine years. She also serves as a mentor to emerging climate technology startups through the NASDAQ entrepreneur center's matching platform Mentor Makers; and is on the advisory board of The Company of Dads, a network for fathers who are balancing domestic and professional responsibilities and goals.

Porro will work with co-leader Megan Tuck to help clients looking to align their strategic priorities and sustainable programs with changes in society.
