Nielsen has announced that its Pacific Broadcaster & Publisher Lead Tony Boyte will be stepping down in April, to be replaced by eighteen-year company veteran Scott Gillham.

Scott GillhamGillham was a Media Buyer and Planner at Zenith, DDB Sydney and OMD Australia before joining Nielsen in June 2005. In his new role he will be supported by Amanda Lane, who continues in her role as NZ Broadcaster & Publisher Lead.

Boyte will scale back his involvement between now and April when he will begin a break to spend more time with his family. Nielsen Pacific MD Monique Perry says 'I would like to thank Tony for his leadership and valuable contribution to our New Zealand business. He has been a key factor in Nielsen's success in the region and laid a strong foundation for Scott and his team to build upon'. Boyte himself says of his successor: 'Having worked with Scott Gillham for many years, I know he will build on, and strengthen, our existing partnerships with broadcasters and clients. I wish Scott well and look forward to seeing him grow the strong partnerships we've built on behalf of the industry'.
