Jabes Joins Harris Network

Yet more activity involving a major research group in Latin America: El Salvador's Jabes Market Research is the latest company to join the Harris Interactive(r) Global Network. Jabes was established only in September 2002 but is already planning to spread its operations to Guatemala and Honduras in the next few years.

Jabes' regional staff consists of researchers and statisticians, as well as journalists and publicists who maintain ongoing media relationships with major publications in El Salvador. Jabes conducts quant and qual research in politics and public opinion, the pharmaceutical industry, usage and attitudinal analysis, advertising and branding, and customer satisfaction.

Harris Interactive's Executive VP and CSO David Vaden says Central America has 'often been overlooked by the world's leading research companies'. Jabes' General Manager Manuel Castillo says the company is 'proud to be a part of the Harris Interactive Global Network. We have a highly capable team that offers extensive experience working with multinational businesses'.

Members of Harris Interactive's Global Network now represent Africa, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Eastern and Western Europe, Central/North/South America, and the Middle East. Although affiliated with Harris Interactive, members operate as totally independent firms. Harris Interactive's web site includes a section for the Global Network at www.harrisinteractive.com/globalops/globalnet.asp
