New Structure for TNS Asia Pacific

TNS has made several new senior appointments in an attempt to increase integration between its Hong Kong and Singapore business centres.

The current MD of TNS Hong Kong Wander Meijer will assume the new position of Group MD. In addition to overseeing operations in both Hong Kong and Singapore, he will be responsible for the region's Access Panels and its international calling centre, which includes a new CATI facility in Guangzhou.

Replacing Meijer as MD for Hong Kong is Wade Garland, currently Deputy MD for the region. He joined TNS following the company's takeover of NFO, where he worked as General Manager of the Singapore office. Thomas Isaac, former TNS Vietnam Research Director, has been promoted to Director of Research Services for Hong Kong. Grant Bertoli will remain MD of TNS Singapore.

John Abraham, Regional Director of Asian Operations for the company, says that the consolidation of the two regional hubs will 'drive multi-country business and help leverage international research capabilities across both offices'. He expects the restructure to allow the whole region to benefit from Hong Kong's newly developed '6thdimension' Access Panel.

The company is online at www.tns-global.com .
