Equifax Buys US Marketing Analytics Company
Equifax Inc has acquired BeNow Inc, a US provider of marketing solutions and analytics, for an undisclosed amount. BeNow will form part of Equifax Marketing Services, and its CEO Brad Neuenhaus will become Senior VP with Equifax.
BeNow provides database management, analytics and support for customer marketing campaigns. The company, whose clients include General Motors, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Hammacher Schlemmer, Tower Records and MetLife, will maintain its presence in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Neuenhaus, BeNow's CEO since 1997, will join Equifax as Senior Vice President, reporting to Owen Flynn, Group Executive, Marketing Services.
Equifax Chairman and CEO Tom Chapman says the acquisition will boost his company's Marketing Services sector. He says that BeNow's 'industry expertise and technologies' makes it 'an ideal fit' for Equifax.
