Ipsos UK Appoints Loyalty Directors

Ipsos UK - to be merged with MORI following this week's acquisition - has appointed Helen Simpson, formerly of Australian Business Ltd, and Mo Alam, from Orange, as Directors in its Loyalty division. Both will report to Gailynn Nicks, MD, Ipsos Loyalty.

Simpson was previously head of strategy at Australian Business Ltd, a member organisation that champions business growth and represents business concerns to government. With her experience in financial, business and professional services and b2b research, she will be responsible for developing the financial services side of the loyalty practice, as well as working closely with existing clients, including BACS and APACS on the Consumer Payment Survey.

Alam will help to strengthen the division's telecoms expertise, having spent four years working for mobile phone network Orange. One of his key tasks will be to develop business with the major mobile networks and ISPs. He will also be working with a key ISP client to track market changes and key drivers of loyalty.

Commenting on the promotions, Nicks said: 'Companies are becoming increasingly aware of the need to build real loyalty with customers. The specialist knowledge that Helen and Mo bring will enable us to expand the range of clients we service'.

The company is online at www.ipsos-uk.com.
