ESA and Pulse Train Quiz Insight Visitors

UK retail research firm ESA is teaming up with MR software provider Pulse Train to conduct the on-site research at this week's Insight show. The show, designed for buyers and users of market research, is taking place tomorrow and Wednesday at Earls Court in London.

The research will take place throughout the show, with ESA's researchers questioning visitors on issues ranging from the quality of exhibitors and presentations, to reasons for attending and likelihood of returning. Results will be fed back in real time via Pulse Train's handheld technology and displayed on the Pulse Train stand.

The findings will be used by the show's organiser, Centaur Exhibitions, in planning next year's event. Ron Cordeiro, Event Director, says 'it is essential for the future development of the show that we understand what our visitors like and where they feel we could improve'.

Pulse Train recently announced another joint venture - this time with survey software specialist E-Tabs. The companies are working to provide an interface between Pulse Train's Pulsar Web online analytics system, and E-Tabs' Enterprise automatic reporting software.

Pulsar Web takes survey data and creates summary tables and charts in a web browser. The new partnership means users will be able to define the tables they wish to run in Pulsar Web, and Enterprise will then immediately generate an entire PowerPoint presentation.
