DisplaySearch Launches Reports and Forecasts

Flat panel display research specialist DisplaySearch is launching ten new regular reports on various aspects of the TV and PC flat panel display supply chain. The company, which has employees in both the US and Asia, was recently taken over by retail research provider the NPD Group.

The new reports are as follows.

Weekly TV Flash Report
Released every Tuesday, this will summarise products and prices from adverts in weekend newspapers. It also includes summaries from TV shows and new releases, and reports on developments from DisplaySearch analysts in Japan and China.

Quarterly LCD TV Value Chain Report, Quarterly LCD Monitor Value Chain Report and Quarterly Notebook PC Value Chain Report
These reports provide details of the supply chains for three different categories, with information about the size of different suppliers and manufacturers.

Quarterly TV Electronics Report
This provides details about design wins, market share, shipments, pricing, revenues and trends for TV technology. The report is being developed by new DisplaySearch VP Henry Choy.

Quarterly Large-area TFT LCD Product Plan Report
This provides details about the products each panel supplier is producing, and reveals new performance specifications and technologies.

Quarterly Public Display Shipment and Forecast Report
This report gives details of public display shipments by size and resolution for both plasma and large-format LCD (26+ inch) for non-consumer TV applications. It looks at sub-sections of the market including digital signage, flight information displays, and hospitality and industrial displays.

Monthly NB PC Pricing, Specification and Design Win Database
This features all major specifications and prices for notebook PCs.

Quarterly LCD Monitor Cost and Price Forecast Model
This includes a bill of materials for every type and size of LCD monitor. As well as historical costs, prices and margins, it gives forecasts for the next four years.

Quarterly LCD Component Report: Display Optical Films
This report tracks market share, pricing, capacity, and demand for materials including polarizers, viewing angle film and brightness enhancement film (BEF).
