Synovate Hires Manager for Ukraine
Synovate has appointed Ivan Fedoryshchenko, formerly Operations Manager at ACNielsen, as General Manager for its fast growing Ukraine and Belarus business.
ESOMAR's latest Industry Survey highlights the Ukraine as one of the fastest growing countries for MR, with 20% growth expected this year. The country's MR industry had a turnover of $21m in 2004, up from $18m in 2003 (6.7% growth after inflation, compared with 3.2% for Europe as a whole).
Fedoryshchenko spent almost three years at ACNielsen, and was previously Business Development Manager for DHL in the Ukraine. He holds an MA in European Studies from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, and an MA in Political Science from the Central European University in Budapest.
Tony Rhodes, Synovate's Chief Operating Officer for Central/Eastern Europe, says the company is enjoying excellent growth in Ukraine and Belarus. Speaking of the new appointment, he adds: 'Mr Fedoryshchenko has both market research expertise and valuable experience as a marketer, and we look forward to further developing our business under his leadership.'
