TNS to Use Globalpark Panel Software

German-based online survey software firm Globalpark has agreed to license its Online Panel Site Tool (OPST) software to TNS Worldpanel. TNS will use a specially tailored version of OPST, which is used by 30 panel providers worldwide, for its continuous consumer panels.

OPST is designed to provide a secure and straightforward platform for surveying panels, and is particularly suited to continuous measurement of consumer behaviour.

TNS Worldpanel's primary requirement for the software was to be able to offer panellists greater flexibility by means of an online option for recording purchase information. Globalpark has added several features to ensure smooth integration with TNS Worldpanel's existing data collection methods.

Dr Lorenz Graef, founder and MD of Globalpark says the partnership 'exemplifies the growth in international demand for Globalpark's expertise' and the company's 'commitment to continuous software development and ability to provide tailored solutions to meet customers' needs'.

James Brooks of TNS says: 'Crucial for our decision was the comprehensive nature of Globalpark's proposal. They demonstrated a solid grasp of our needs and matched this with professional high-performance software.'

The companies are online at www.globalpark.de and www.tns-global.com.
