Ten Hires for Yankee
Hard on the heels of the large-scale hiring announcement by Forrester Research last week, technology specialist Yankee Group has announced the hiring of ten new research analysts for its Boston team.
Last week rival technology research and intelligence provider, Forrester, announced a large number of senior hires (www.mrweb.com/drno/news5347.htm ).
Yankee's ten new faces are as follows.
In the Telecommunications & Wireless/Mobile area, four senior analysts have joined. Jill Aldort focuses on the consumer services market and next-generation mobile applications; Sharon Ballard covers technology developments involving implementation of service, content delivery platforms and IMS deployments; and Sal Capizzi focuses on storage systems and virtualization technology. Sandra Palumbo will cover managed security services, managed devices, event management and managed desktops. Newly appointed Analysts Nathan Dyer and Jonathan Singer focus on business mobile devices, platforms and strategies; and desktop and mobile device security, respectively.
Two analysts have joined the Consumers, Media & Entertainment area. Matthew Del Percio's focus will include consumer broadband pricing and market strategies, and Tara Howard's cable, wireless and municipal broadband.
In the IT Hardware, Software & Services area, analyst Mindy Blodgett will focus on IT and business processing, finance and accounting, and procurement while senior analyst Kenneth Landoline forecasts and tracks areas including voice telephony, contact centers, CRM and speech analytics.
