TNS Brings in Shankar for Stakeholder Duet

TNS has appointed R Ravi Shankar, its Senior VP in India, as Co-Regional Champion to lead its Stakeholder Management practice - TRI*M across TNS Asia Pacific, Latin America and Middle-East & Africa (ALM).

The announcement, made at the 16th TNS Global TRI*M Conference in March 2006 in Beijing, China, was reported in India's The Economic Times. Shankar will join Graham Tocher in developing Stakeholder Management and Strategic Consulting practice in India and across other countries in TNS' ALM super-region. He will remain based in New Delhi.

With an Economics and Business Management background, Shankar has over 18 years of experience in marketing, advertising & communication, and general management across a wide variety of industries.

TNS India's MD, R Suresh, adds, 'Ravi brings with him a wealth of industry experience and an innovative approach to business, something I regard as being the very lifeblood of any successful company. He will also bring the entrepreneurial spirit that we need to identify, develop and build new business opportunities in the marketplace.'

TRI*M is a system used to create, organise and implement a Stakeholder Management system, based on three guiding principles of measuring, managing and monitoring. Several high profile synidcated TRI*M studies operate in India including customer satisfaction for cars, motorcycles and mobile telecoms, and studies of corporate reputation and call centre employee views.
